PAPA System Analog Repeaters are 22 inter-linked analog and digital D-Star repeaters that are operated and maintained by members of the Pocket Auto-Patch Association (PAPA), providing extensive coverage from the northern Mexico border to north of Santa Barbara, and from the western Arizona border into the Pacific Ocean in southern California, United States.
When the need arises, the PAPA System provides critical amateur radio support to various public safety, emergency, and rescue organizations. Many PAPA members donate their time to local disaster communications organizations and to other regional and community events like the annual Baker-to-Vegas Challenge Cup Relay for law enforcement agencies.
