Since we first signed-on Easter Sunday, April 17 of 1960, KICY has continued to broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ throughout Western Alaska and the Russian Far East. We have increased our power to 50,000 watts, 24 hours a day which allows KICY AM 850 the opportunity to send the gospel into some places where other forms of media are not readily available.
