Playing the Tunes you used to love

GDR aims to take you on the personal musical journeys of all DJ's that present on the station. We will share the music that made a huge impact on our lives whilst growing up, Dj’ing and just listening to other DJ’s. Golddust Radio will run from Thursday evenings 9pm until 12am and are aiming at a mature audience that want to hear 'the tunes we used to love……' Content The initial pilot show will contain a selection of specialist genres spanning music from the 60’s through to the 21st century i.e. Motown, Disco, Jazz/Funk, R&B , Hip-hop, Soulful House/Garage, Retro Pop & Reggae. Our direction will always be to play the classics and some of the lesser known rare tracks. Future broadcasting The genres previously mentioned will eventually be broken down into specialist shows where DJ’s will be invited to host shows and play the classics from the chosen genre. GDR will then aim to broadcast for 12 hours every weekend with a view to giving the listeners a brief in-site to what is going on in their locality by engaging them in real time via web chat, Facebook & text.
