環球廣播電台最大經營特色，在於節目時段不外賣，開台初期全部節目經營完全自製，並重金禮聘在地甚受聽友喜愛的名主持人調禮、麗卿、阿君、文歌等，作為招牌重點經營。再因應市場環境後，部分時段調整為策略聯盟之聯播經營，目前電台編制設有節目、工程、管理、業務四大部門。並結合在地義工與校園記者，廣泛蒐集在地新聞與流行資訊，期望在高品質的節目播出上，能滿足閱聽眾之需求，並取得在地最佳之認同。
